As the economy slowly but surely recovers here in the US some areas in our nation aren't. The Obama Admin. reported that between the years 2007 through 2010 homeless increased twenty percent. That doesn't account for the physical, emotional, and mental state that the recession is making these kids. Resent estimates predict that the number of homeless children has increased to 1.6 million which, according to a study by public schools, is a 38% increase. Those students have an even less chance to graduate high school let alone college and find a job/house.
