It is said that a 4 degree Celsius chance, the worst case scenario estimated by World Bank, could occur by 2060. Food production would have a greater risk, malnutrition rates may rise, climate extremes, water scarcity, and natural disasters.
It is also reported that the temperature increase could lead to increased food prices, parts of Africa unable to be farmed, and increased range for diseases.
Not only would this affect large companies and society as a whole, but it affects individuals from all walks of life too. The world has already witnessed too many natural disasters than normal, which may or may not be attributed to global warming. However, it cannot be ignored that global warming will increase the rates of natural disaster occurrence.
Food price increase will also be noticeable by everyone of every social class in every country. The rise in food price will especially affect those who are having difficulties affording basic necessities in the first place.
An increase of temperature, especially the one projected by World Bank, would be disastrous to the economy, coastal cities, and all individuals
