Getting out of a recession

In order to get out of a recession a nation must financially bring together and be smart with their money especially in these times. In the 1930s during the Great Depression war time caused factories to change to wartime production all over the US. What this did was boost the economy's production until they were out of the depression. But besides War time there are several other things that a nation can do in order to rise out of a recession.
1. Stop outsourcing as much and bring those jobs to the US.
A lot of unskilled jobs like answering the phone for example is out of the country because of cheap labor costs. If company's would stop being so conservative and create a facility in the US the unemployment rate would lessen back down to regular rates. There are even skilled jobs such as doctors and engineers that now are overseas as opposed to in the country which is what we need at this time economically.
2. Increasing Research and Development
By increasing research and development in areas such as robotics or medicine the nation can improve drastically and improve the quality of life. With technological breakthroughs the country could experience a new era for jobs that do not exist today.
3. Increasing Energy Production
If a country builds enough power plants, energy mills, etc. A country can become self-sufficient on energy and save a lot of money dealing with electricity/oil depending on the type of energy the country decides to increase.
Mainly  the goal to getting out of a recession is to produce enough jobs where the production by the people will eventually stimulate the economy out of the recession.
