In the article, McLendon discusses the both the viewpoints of Romney and Obama, albeit those view points were few during the presidential debate. Obama believes that wind and solar energy are the energy sources of the future. While on the other hand, Romney believes that the federal government should not have much say in private companies who use green energy.
Romney says that about half of federal funded private green companies have gone out of business, which is called "the lie of the night" with only three of 33 business funded by the government have gone out of business. This was confirmed by fact checkers later.
It is clear that Romney has little interest in going "green" while on the other hand Obama leans towards green energy, which indicates that the environment will be worse off if Romney were to take office, and not as bad if Obama took office.
Who will benefit the country more in the long run? Romney advocating oil and making money now, or Obama advocating green energy and fuel efficiency keeping the environment well.

ReplyDeleteWind energy can not be the energy of the future because there is no way to store wind energy in batteries. Thats why when you drive by these wind farms there are a multitude of them not spinning. The reason is that there is not a demand for that energy so those wind turbines were just a big waste af money. Unless you can find a way to run the entire country on wind, wind wont be a valuable alternative energy. One of the only valid alterantive energy sources is nuclear which think is a very great alternative energy source. You shold look more into nuclear energy rather than solar and wind.
